Relating To Consumer Protection.
Summary
Beginning October 1, 2026, this bill prohibits the ownership, operation, or management of digital financial asset transaction kiosks that accept U.S. currency from customers in exchange for digital financial assets. The prohibition applies to any entity operating such kiosks in Hawaii. The bill becomes effective on July 1, 3000.
